Andrew is HealthMAP's Consulting Director.  He is a shareholder and director of HealthMAP Limited and hasbeen involved with the business since its inception in mid 2000.

Prior to the formation of HealthMAP, Andrew worked as a Project Manager and Managing Consultant for SAP Australasia.  Before this he was employed by Ernst & Young, first as an Audit Manager and later as a Consultant and Managing Consultant.  Earlier again, Andrew worked in the banking, insurance and software industries.  Andrew's project management skills combined with his process and risk management background has resulted in him being asked frequently to step in as trouble shooter and/or manager for high risk and complex projects, both domestically and internationally.

Andrew has a reputation as a strong leader of highly motivated teams able to deliver complex process and systems implementation.  Throughout his career, he has had significant exposure to a range of project and change management methodologies.  He has contributed substantially to the development of the methodologies now used by the HealthMAP team in the delivery of their services to the health sector.

Some of Andrew's specific roles for HealthMAP include:

• Consulting to the Ministry of Health to establish a consistent national IS business case framework across the public Health Sector
• Programme management of the Patient and Clinical information systems to complement the new process and building design for the Auckland District Health Board
• Consultant to the Investment team of the New Zealand National Health IT strategy (WAVE project) for the Ministry of Health
