IS Strategy Development for CDHB Provider Arm
Canterbury District Health Board's provider arm recognised the need to review their current IS capability to support the delivery of their health services strategy. HealthMAP led an exercise to prepare an IS strategic framework and consolidated plan that is "owned" by the provider arm and will deliver to meet their requirements.

The planning exercise included:

a review of the current CDHB strategy and business requirements
an assessment from both business and IS perspectives of the current CDHB IS capability to support the delivery of the strategy
development of a strategic path to move from current state to required future state, including identification and prioritisation of a number of
         solution components
an approach to operationalise the strategy

A key outcome of the work was the high level of business ownership of the plan.
