Hilary is the Healthphone Implementation Manager for HealthMAP, responsible for oversight of Healix Healthphone implementations for all clients.  Hilary has been working with HealthMAP since 2003.

Prior to joining HealthMAP, Hilary worked for many years as an independent contractor through her own company Hilary Carlile & Associates Limited.  During this time she was involved in strategy and IT projects in the health, local body and telecommunications industries.  Earlier, Hilary held a position as an IT consultant for Ernst & Young and senior positions in several government departments.

Hilary has managed successful projects, built strong teams and mentored project managers to turn out successful projects.  Her team members feel empowered to successfully take on projects that will extend them further.  She works with her clients to ensure that best practice project management principles are used to implement projects by taking the role of programme / project manager or mentor / facilitator.  In all cases she ensures that she transfers her knowledge of project management principles and practices to her clients.

Hilary has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Environment Botany and Geography from the University of Southampton, England, and six papers towards a Master of Public Policy degree in Organisational Development from the University of Victoria , Wellington.  Hilary has also taken part in a significant number of personal and professional development courses, especially in the area of advanced project management. Hilary is a member of the NZ Computer Society, the Project Management Institute of New Zealand, TUANZ, the ie3 Group of Consultants and Solutions Network.

Outside of work hours, Hilary is a keen traveller and tramper.
